MWIN offers clients access to an Emergency Fund, allowing them immediate, no-interest loans or gifts to cover unexpected expenses like medication.
Emergency Subsidies provide short-term, high-impact financial assistance to MWIN clients in times of need. These subsidies serve as a bridge to permanent housing (security deposits paid to landlords) or as a safety net for our women by providing for unforeseen, necessary expenses that arise and place them at risk for falling into (or back into) homelessness. Clients benefiting from ES program also use the Advocacy, Resource and Referral and Home Visits to prevent homelessness.
